Thanksgiving 10K

Some of my family and friends and I decide to run a 10K (6.23 Miles) on Thanksgiving.  It was a lot of fun even though it was so cold.  I am proud of everyone who worked so hard to train and get ready for it, and proud of Melissa for beating Scott.

Thanks to Jory, My mom, Stepho, Joey, Aspen, Clayton, Joel and Russell for coming out and standing in the cold to support us.

Ronald McDonald House

My mom signed us up to serve dinner at the Ronald McDonald house.  It was a neat thing to do, and it was fun because most of the family was there.  The food turned out great and the people appreciated the home cooked meal.  It always feels good to do something for other people.

Halloween

I know I am a little late, but I figured I would post these now instead of not at all.  A little before Halloween my mother in law JoAnn got my sister in law Ashely and I some pumpkins to carve.  She got us these really cute ones that had warts on them.  Well, little did we know, those things are like cement pumpkins.  They were so hard to cut through my father in law Doug had to cut the top off mine.  Ashely must be stronger than me, she made it through hers.  It was a lot of fun and they turned out pretty cute.

Rifle Deer Hunt

Jory got asked to go hunting with a good friend of mine Chad and his friend Sean.  I was glad to hear that it was a successful hunt,  Sean had a buck tag and got a 3 point.  The boys also ran into two moose and got some great pictures of them. 

Love Your Body 6K, Thanksgiving Point

I ran my first organized race on the 9^th  it was a 6K (3.72 miles).  It was a lot of fun and I survived it.  My goal is to do a 5K, 10K and a Half Marathon.  On Thanksgiving my brother, sisters and I are running our first 10K (6.21 miles) so we have all been working hard to get ready for that.

Happy Birthday Stepho

Being a twin has been such a neat thing, Stepho and I have a relationship that is unexplainable.  I just wanted to wish her a very happy birthday!  She is such a great sister and a wonderful person.  She is always there for my family and I.   Thanks for everything Stepho, you are incredible!

Ellee

Since we don’t have kids, I thought we would post some pictures of Ellee since she practically is our child.  She is a lot of fun to have around with us, she just turned a year and we brought her to our home when she was just a few weeks old.  It’s been fun to watch her grow she has such a funny personality.  Jory taught her how to shed hunt with us, he would hide sheds in the back yard and let her find them.  The funny thing is that she found one when we were up in the mountains.
